Testimonials

Tai Chi is for everyone. It does not require any special athletic abilities, expensive equipment, or perfect health. The only requirment is the ground and a desire the learn. Tai Chi can be practiced by seniors, adults and children alike.  It will increase your strength and flexabilty, improve your balance, reduce your stress, and expand your mind.

  • " For many many months, I was in constant pain. It was a constant, aching pain that sharpened when ever I moved nearly any joint in my body... my doctor found the beginings of Arthritis. He told me he could write a prescription for some pain killers... It was then he suggested I try light, load bearing exercises...like weight lifting, and maybe try Tai Chi.  Its been more than nine months since I started this program...I love Tai Chi. I find it interesting that for as slow as it seems, I manage to work up a sweat every session. Oh one more thing, those muscles and joint pains I used to get...they are gone and have been for several months. Does Tai Chi work? I can only suggest that you try it for yourself..."

    Jim, Humble

  • " I found an article about the N.E. wellness center and the offering of tai chi classes and so it was to be that tai chi would lead me to many wonderful changes in my life.  All of them positive.  I have made new friends and shared new experiences.  My happiness grows as my physical and mental well being improve. My knees, which have been painful, are overall much better and certainly my balance has improved. "

    Polly, Senior student, Humble

  • "I am really enjoying the class and that I immediately started to feel the positive effects from the breathing and movement . It doesn't take long for me to start to get that Chi-related high. It feels good because I know how to breathe properly and the flow of Chi is unrestricted.  So if you see me in class with that big broad smile on my face, its the Chi taking hold of me (and me enjoying it.)"

    Jim, TCMA, The Woodlands
