The Woodlands Tai Chi and Kung Fu choice for 25 years.
Tai Chi Chaun and Qigong are ancient exercises based on traditional Chinese medicine. These mind body experiences are known to maintain strength and flexibility, improve balance and clear the mind. Anyone can learn tai chi regardless of age or physical condition and no special equipment is required.
Tradtional Chinese martial arts have been used for centuries as means of promoting strong minds and general health. Training includes: Northern Fist; 12 Roads of Tan Tui; Northern Shaolin; Closed Door Praying Mantis; and Chin Na. Students are taught strikes, blocks, kicks, take downs and joint locks in a semi-private class.
Students can increase their skill level in tai chi or kung fu through traditional weapons and self-defense training. Classes are available in dao, sword, bo, spear, dagger, chain whip, crescent knives, fan, double fan and kwan dao. Tai students have the option of learning joint locks and pushing hands found in kung fu and tai chi.
